The VFW Post .1k Fun Run is a 108-yard “run” held on the Saturday before our annual Founders Dinner event, encouraging maximum participation from runners, joggers, walkers, adaptive adventurers, and kids young and old. All proceeds from the event benefit local veterans and the military community.

We are proud to partner with the West High School JROTC program, the official host of the day. A portion of the proceeds raised will go towards the cadets’ travel expenses to attend various competitions.

Since VFW Post 1 was founded in 1899, the fee for this event will be $18.99, which includes entry into unlimited heats, a race t-shirt, and a race goodie bag.
